CEO

Trudie Vos

Trudie is a passionate and purpose-driven leader with over 18 years of management experience across the health, disability, community, and social services sectors. She brings a strong record of effective financial and organisational leadership, underpinned by a deep commitment to people, purpose, and positive social impact.

As CEO, she is dedicated to fostering growth, collaboration, and sustainability, ensuring the organisation continues to strengthen its support for individuals, families, and communities in need.

Counsellors

Leah Jenkin

BA (Counselling)
PACFA Accredited Certified Practising Registrant

Leah is a PACFA certified counsellor who values a person-centred, collaborative approach within the therapeutic relationship. Her approach is focused on developing insight and understanding around each client’s personal story, joining them with curiosity to explore current concerns or opportunities for growth.

Leah tailors her support to a client’s individual needs and circumstances, drawing upon evidence-based therapeutic techniques including schema therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, narrative exposure therapy and cognitive behavioural therapy. Leah prioritises safety while empowering clients to develop greater self-compassion and personal accountability to enhance their sense of freedom and wellbeing.

Marie Bourke

Marie has spent a lifetime dedicated to education, counselling, and community work across the globe. After nearly 20 years teaching in Australia and New Zealand, she spent 25 years in Africa, focusing on rural health, education, and trauma-focused counselling with youth and families at SHARPZ in Zambia.

Later, in Ireland, she worked in suicide prevention and homelessness support before returning to Australia. In Bathurst, she lived with vulnerable women through Bridge Community and counselled at CWWHC. Now at Joseph’s Corner in Melbourne, Marie—an accredited PACFA counsellor since 2009 – is training in Body Psychotherapy, integrating mind, body, and spirit in her practice.
