An Afternoon of High Tea, Heartfelt Stories & Community Spirit

Joseph’s Corner warmly invites you to a special High Tea event – a beautiful afternoon filled with connection, inspiration, and purpose.

This year, we are honoured to welcome guest speaker Mr Richard Tran, whose incredible journey will touch your heart.
Desperate to escape the oppression, poverty and persecution under the new communist regime in Vietnam, Richard and his family sought refuge in Australia. Growing up on the streets of Melbourne, Richard faced enormous challenges that could have defined his future.
But thanks to the support of charitable organisations—and the life-changing guidance of Les Twentyman—he found a new path. Richard’s powerful story is a living reminder of why organisations like Joseph’s Corner are so vital in our community.

We are also privileged to have as our Master of Ceremonies, the ever-charismatic David Mann AM, KSJ FAICD – widely known as Mann About Town from 3AW. David was awarded the Order of Australia for his outstanding service to the Victorian community, particularly through his tireless work with charities. Joseph’s Corner is proud to call him a friend.

Come enjoy delicious high tea treats, great company, and a truly meaningful afternoon.
